Cricketwear And Replica Cricket Shirts

Cricket is a sport known worldwide, and if you have ever had the opportunity to attend an International cricket game, you would undoubtedly have noticed the teams cricket shirts.

However, there are rules and regulations regarding the specific type of clothing players can wear during a cricket match, and it is decided by the International Cricket Council. The ICC was founded on June 15 1909 by Australia, England and South Africa. These three founding members have been joined by seven full members, 32 associate members and 54 affiliate members so that the cricket world now has 96 member countries from all corners of the globe.

The requirement for clothing, specifically shirts, is defined in four categories: color and design; logo; commercial logos; and manufacturer’s logos. Let’s take a look at the International Cricket Council’s regulations first.

For color and design, the shirt must be white/cream with single colored piping/trim permitted. All members of the cricket team must wear the same design. The national logo can only appear once on the upper left part of the chest and not exceed 10.2 inches. Two commercial logos in two of three positions can be worn on the upper right chest, and leading arm sleeve or collar not to exceed 10.2 inches. Finally, each player can only have one manufacturer’s logo on the non-leading arm sleeve, not to exceed 6.2 inches, with no single dimension smaller than 1.5 inches.

There are websites online which offer replica cricket shirts, and among the many countries represented are India, Australia and England. For example, there is an India Cricket Shirt which is personalized with Tendulkar’s name and number on the reverse of the shirt. It also comes with India and Sahara logos.

For Australia fans you can find an Australia Cricket Shirt used in one dayers which comes with Cricket Australia and the manufacturer’s logo as well.

Finally, the England Cricket Shirt for the 2006/2007 season is the one that team England wore when they met Australia and New Zealand in one dayers this past winter. Also, the England 2007 Cricket World Cup shirt is available and comes with the ECB and Cricket World Cup logo and England across the front. In addition, you can also find the 2007 England Test Match cricket shirt which has the sponsor’s logo and England 3 lions badge.

These replica cricket shirts are available online, and you can proudly wear your country’s cricket shirt and all of the latest replica cricket shirts offered when you attend the next International Cricket match. You can also request the new 2007 catalogue which will afford you the opportunity to purchase, in addition to the replica cricket shirts, DVDs, books, hats, and all cricket equipment you may need.
